Hello and Happy Halloween!
Hope you are having a boo - d- ful evening.
As before, I've been pushing through my STUFF and by golly making headway with the help of my friend, Bonnie.
The best news is my niece, Kathy had a baby girl, Danica Lynn on Monday afternoon (October 26) and she is a cutey of course.
I want to make her family a few meals that can be frozen and taken out of the freezer and cooked easily and have been checking out recipes on the net but thought hey why don't I ask my friends what their favorite recipes are.
I am sure you all have some favorites that you like to make or find simple but pleasing. Want to share, I know I would benefit from your recipes and I am thinking others might too.
So if you have a GREAT idea/recipe, please post it here in your reply.
More soon...........those going off daylight savings don't forget to set your clock one hour BACK tonight as you go to bed.
Ciao

Pasta shells, cheese, sauce and some spinach (unless Emma or Cole won't eat it). I usually make it in a square Pyrex. The long ones get too dry around the edges.
My mom's famous recipe-
1-Beef chuck roast (best bone in)
3-Tbs A1 sauce
1-pkg dry onion soup mix
1-can mushroom soup
carrots whole, potaoes quarters
Either slow crock pot 6 hours, or foil covered in oven 4 hours, 325 degree.
Makes a great gravy!!
congrats on the beautiful new addition- I bet you cant get enough;)
Hi Jack,
Congratulations on the new addition to the family!
Hey, anything in a crock pot is great! We've been living on take out, restaurant food and crock pot meals during the renovation of Deb's house!
Take a whole chicken, large box of chicken stock, onions, carrots and potatoes, seasonings and Voilla, instant dinner 8 hours later from the crock pot!
We did a great roast the same way using beef broth, vegetables and adding some bay leaf, garlic, leftover wine, etc. It was soooooo yummy! We served it over noodles.
Revive the crock pot!

CONGRATS on the new baby in the family! I'm not much of a cooker, but wanted to say HI!
