White Wednesday Post

I have been checking out blogs, as many of you do, and one of the things I love is seeing the posts from "White Wednesday" over at Faded Charm Cottage blog. Actually, Rita at Mammabellarte got me started with her great creations that she posts on "White Wednesday".

Here's my first contribution, hope you like it. When you get a chance go on over to Faded Charm Cottage and check out all the great posts....watch out it's habit forming :} If you came from a link at Faded Charm.......thanks for visiting :}

I found this chair at the thrift store and loved the shape of it so I had a vision and bought it.

I had also purchased a sheet at the thrift store last year that was white with french wording and knew it would look wonderful on this chair.

I painted the wood trim white and took it to my upholstery guy and I was blown away when I picked it up.

Pictured in the chair is a little vintage Madame Alexander doll I got at a garage sale for $1 and a little pillow out of a satin pillow case I made today. I'll blog about that later in the week.

What do you think? I might keep it or maybe sell it but for now I'm just loving it.

I just LOVE that chair! What an awesome job. The fabric is perfect. Don't you just love how you find things that you're not sure what you'll use it for but if you hang on to it long enough, the perfect project comes together!

The doll is so sweet also. My Grandmother collected dolls and I remember the Madame Alexanders. Sweet memories!

Blessings,
Missy
