Time to make some Crocheted Bracelets for the Holidays!

Art Meetup will be October 14th and our guest leader is Elena Etcheverry of Scrapbook Royalty she has been WOWing friends and family with her beautiful crocheted wire bracelets and now she's going to teach us all how to make them.

Won't these be fun gifts for friends. Or, make a fun and frilly bracelet for yourself and show off your creativity.

We'll be meeting on the Second Tuesday of the Month, October 14th at 10:00am. For $20 you will receive all materials, instructions and fun. If you have some special embellishments you want to add to your bracelet, by all means bring them but that is optional.

Email me so I'll have a chair and supplies for you.

Have a wonderful beginning of Fall. Talk soon!

Art Meetup--Check out our Party Dolls!!!

We had a fun Art Meetup today led by Georgia. She brought TONS of "stuff" for us to use (which is always fun). Georgia showed us how to use CD's and other empherma to make our cute little party girls.

Diana was having fun drilling holes for her legs and arms. She also brought some cute metal shoes and sunglasses that were oh sooo cute on the "party girls". Thanks Diana!

Georgia had us heat our CD's in hot water and then cut. It's suppose to make it easier but those CD's are tough! Georgia swears CD's are not made as good as they used to be, making it harder for us to cut...but we did it and they looked FAB!!!

All the ladies had fun collaging and putting together their "girls" while we laughed and played. If you know anyone at this meetup, see if you can pick their "party girl" out.

Cancer Coping Center Tea

Maryam of the Cancer Coping Center invited friends, donors and volunteers to the 3rd annual tea at the Rancho Bernardo Inn.

It was such a fun event with delicious tea and scones and good friends. There were silent auctions.........I didn't win ANY...... bummer:{ Someone snuck in there at the end and outbid me. I'll win next time.

I count myself lucky that I have found such wonderful and generous friends.

Maryam of the Cancer Coping Center is always looking for silent auction donations of art and anything that helps with fundraising, so if you have something you'd like to donate for one of the events, go to her website and email her.

Ooooh, I almost forgot, how do you like my Halloween Banner? I got it from Sandy. Who is soooo talented and is selling a seasonal Halloween Banner for only $10! If you need one check out her Etsy. She is truly gifted and you should check out her blog too as she is a wonderful artist.
